Our story starts in 2025, with our co-founder, Émilien, who was frustrated with legacy systems every time he had to sign up for a lacrosse association. He decided to take matters in is own hands and start OpenSet. OpenSet is built with modernity and simplicity in mind. We value clean workflows and design.
Émilien has played lacrosse for 5 years at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf and for Team Québec at he 2024 nationals. He saw firsthand how outdated the systems running lacrosse teams are, and decided to act on it. He has been coding since nine years old and is using his experience to create OpenSet.
Andrey Kovalskiy, Co-Founder Andrey is a passionate developer and student at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf. He began programming at the start of middle school. When Émilien approached him with the idea of finally modernizing lacrosse management systems, Andrey joined forces to develop OpenSet, a breath of fresh air in team management software.
